Making digital deliver: Turning ambition into impact

The 10-Year Health Plan sets out an ambitious vision for the future of health and care, but delivering it will require coordinated action at national, regional and local level.

Digital, data and AI are already enabling benefits for patients, staff and organisations. However, while there are many examples of success, progress remains uneven and significant barriers to adoption and scale remain.

Bringing together national and local leaders, this panel will explore what is making the biggest difference, what continues to hold organisations back, and what needs to change – from leadership and workforce capability to data, procurement and national policy – to ensure digital investment delivers on the ambitions of the 10-Year Health Plan.

Topics will include:

  • Linking digital investment to patient, workforce and system outcomes
  • Real-world examples of digital delivering measurable impact – and the factors behind success
  • Tackling challenges that require system-wide action
  • Evidence gaps, unanswered questions and emerging priorities
  • Scaling what works across organisations and the wider health and care system
